Host's address doesn't seem to exist?
Hello! I just completed an airbnb reservation. When I tried looking up the address, it looks like the specific house/street number doesn't exist. When I messaged the host about it, the host said that full details won't be provided until the day of the reservation. Is this normal for the address not to be correctly provided even after the reservation is completed? There are also no reviews for the host or the listing yet so it's making me nervous.

Hi @Julie3935
Welcome to the community 😊
The guest will see exact location, full address and the host phone number after the cancellation period.
Your host must be checking the box below, to prevent the guest to see the full detail in the cancelation window.
Do check your reservation detail of the cancelation terms in the agreement.
You can always contact the Airbnb Support Help Center in the help page.
In order to check your reservation is accurate, do live chat or message with the team [ not an Airbnb bot] usually, that is someone here to respond you within few minutes, chat with team about your concern.

@Julie3935 as Dale sort of said, you can see the listing address after booking, or at the latest after the 48-hour free cancellation period is over if the host has selected that option. Under no circumstances is it true that you can't see the address until the day of arrival. If you can see the address, and it doesn't exist, that would make me nervous too. It's possible that this is just a new host whose listing is not set up properly and who doesn't yet know how Airbnb works. Another possibility is the listing is not real and the host is running a scam. In your shoes I would contact Airbnb customer support.

Thank you @Dale711 and @Lisa723! I had no idea about the cancellation period. Based on this, it seems like the host did not select this option because I saw the address immediately, and the snapshot sounds like the address would have been hidden completely until the cancellation period passed if that option was selected. I'll take your advice and reach out to customer support
