If I don't take a security deposit from the renter. Am I fully protected with Airbnb cover incase the renter damages my property or breaks the house rules?

@Gino123 simply put - No you are not. As one example the damage part of air cover is not an insurance policy and, if it does pay out, it pays a depreciated sum that is not going to be enough to replace an item that is damaged. If you need cover then take out a proper insurance policy that covers short term rentals.
