@Janice388 There are many guests who don't realize that 3rd party bookings are against Airbnb's TOS, and in fact, if you were to call Airbnb about this, they would likely advise to let them stay, as they have told other hosts.
Hopefully this guy didn't cause any problems of behave inappropriately. You should add some wording to your listing about 3rd party bookings not being allowed and when someone books, in your mesage to them, make sure that the person who booked is the person who will be staying, letting them know that if it isn't, the person who is staying should set up their own account to book, and that the original booker should cancel the reservation, as the 3rd party will not be admitted into your home.
Some guests who are couples have the account in both their names, i.e. it will say XX and YY, and in that case, it's perfectly legitimate for one of them to stay even if the other was the one who communicated with you. But they should certainly let you know which one of them will be coming.
As a single woman who home-shares, you can also decide to only host other females, if you feel more comfortable with that. You would have to make that clear in your listing, and you might still get requests from men, but if you do, you could get Airbnb to cancel those without penalty.
