How are the refunds working for Coronavirus cancellations?

Hi Everyone,

From my understanding, Airbnb is giving a full refund to any Coronavirus cancellations (within a certain time period).  We have had some cancellations.  However, on their reservation page, it still shows us getting the payout.  I assume that is incorrect, right?  The whole payment will be refunded to our guests?

Does anyone have any information on this?

In the same boat here. I just assume that the $$ will be dedicated when they credit the.guest.

@Mark1357Thank you for your reply.  It's weird that they said everyone is getting a full refund, but haven't given specifics.  Guests with cancellations are putting pressure on us to tell them how the refunds are going to work.  It puts us in an awkward position to not have that information clearly laid out for them.

I am still waiting for my refund of AirBNB service fee of $122.58. This was a cancellation due to quarantine of coronavirus persons from seattle, and covered under AirBNBs stated policy of full refund. I did not get a full refund, because AIRBNB did not return my service fee. I called support and they said someone would handle my credit and contact me. Nobody from AirBNB has handled this. Full refund means full refund and not to be AirBNB refunds none of the fees. This was a national and state emergency. Please handle the refund due me. At least respond. Been a week since I began trying to get my full refund and AIRBNB chooses to ignore all request. Please respond. At least respond. Please tell me why full refund to airbnb means less their own fees. Why are you holding my fees???
