Hi all
I would like any thoughts or ideas please.
Today, I received a Request to Book from a repeat guest from 2021. The guest mentioned that they had such a great time that they were coming back this summer (Yeah😃)!
Here's my Airbnb concern. The profile for this guest, since 2017, shows 0 reviews. I have verifiable copies of my review and reservation details from 2021 that are not appearing on her profile.
How/why is it possible for Airbnb to "drop" host reviews of guests.
I suspect that the guest never clued in to this anomaly on her profile.
There was absolutely nothing adververse, scary, threatening, or untowards about this guest.
Any thoughts, speculation ideas????
Did the guest leave a review for you? If so, is it appearing on your listing page?
Thank you for your question.
The question is not about the review on the host side, all shows correctly.
The issue is that my host (and maybe other host reviews) are not showing on the guest profile.
Hey @M199,
That does sound a bit odd ... though without doing a bit of digging, any guess I put forward would be unfounded speculation. Did you get a chance to ask the guest if they had more info as to why that might be? I'll send you a DM to get more details so we can try to get to the bottom of it. 🙂
Thanks,
Emilie

@M199 Are you sure the profile is the same? If you scroll up on the message thread does it show the previous conversation you had with the guest last year? If not, a new/different profile was used to make the reservation.
@M199 It looks like this guest has two profiles. I have seen this many times before.
OK, but completely identical, both with zero reviews. How do I see if the guest has a 2nd or more profile?
Plenty of times I’ve had a guest say something to the effect of “I lost that log in so I made a new account”
seems like the kind of thing abb would protect against and yet…
