Once I made a reservation and paid the initial fees for the property. I contacted the host who told me that the listing was fraudulent and did not exitst. She them told me to contact Aribnb, but I have no access other than live chat which did not respond back. Any suggestions?
I always go to Airbnbhelp on Twitter, @Lisa6900. Send them a short message, then they'll ask for the name, email address, and phone number associated with your account. After you give them that, you'll want to provide them with the URL of the fraudulent listing. Hope this works for you!
@Lisa6900 what day did this happen? There are several posts from hosts in the last 1-3 days about having fake listings pop up on their own account. I assume your issue is very new and part of that phenomenon… it helps to track the pattern of we know what day you paid, and what day you contacted airbnb (how long you’ve been waiting for a reply).
