How to have a year off as a host?

I am unable to host for a year from 31 March 2020.How do I effect this and can I retain my Superhost status when I return

Under normal circumstances, you wouldn't retain your SH status. Whether the current pandemic will change this, who knows.

To implement your plan just go into your calendar, highlight all the dates for a year and then block  them. Alternatively just snooze your listing.

If you have already taken bookings then many will get cancelled as the Extenuating Circumstances policy is extended beyond mid April
