Hello everyone, I just submitted an experience for review. my question to anyone who knows… How many days weeks or months mi...
So, I know both parties need to leave feedback for it to be posted, Of course they will NOT leave me feedback. Because they are afraid of what my review will be.! ......THEY SHOULD BE !
I think its unfair I can not write a review that will be scene on their review and warn other Airbnb Hosts.
They had no right bring Guns and Fireworks to me home. And shooting the guns. And setting of fireworks !! My neighbors were do SCARED.
It was so beyond dangerous and Despicable to do that at my home.
I am very, very angry about it,
And want something done !
Any Suggestions ?????

@Brian2218 You are misinformed on how reviews work.

Do leave a review. Also refer to the review policy guidelines so you craft a review that won’t violate the policy, possibly leading to it being removed.

I would also report the guest.

Wrong.
@Brian2218 I see you have 45 reviews under your belt and you still don't know how reviews work???
Where, oh where, do people come up with the notion that both parties need to write a review for them to be published? How did that false notion ever get traction?
Slam them in the review. Just don't write anything that could lead it to being removed. Just the facts.
@Brian2218 another misconception that comes up a lot is that rule-breaking guests are "afraid" of how hosts will review them. This can't possibly be true - their behavior made it loud and clear that they couldn't care less about their reputation.
The review system will never be symmetrical - hosts' livelihoods are staked on building up good reviews on the platform, whereas guests can simply burn a badly reviewed profile. Your review can at least prevent the person who booked from posing as a reputable guest, and reporting the hazardous use of firearms can get that individual banned from the platform. But I'm afraid if you want anything consequential to be done about an illicit party you have to catch it in progress and, if necessary, call the police.
