If a guest withdraws their enquiry does my pre approval still stand?

I think he’s trying to scam me somehow, saying he has booked when he hasn’t. I live on my own and I don’t want him to be able to book now as I don’t feel comfortable. If he has withdrawn his enquiry does that cancel out my pre-approval? I cant cancel the pre-approval - the option has gone. Eesh, I just don’t want him getting hold of my address. TIA!

You can withdraw the pre-approval yourself.

Thanks for the advice, but the option to remove the pre approval has gone because he has withdrawn his enquiry (I think)

Maybe the pre-approval has expired (24 hours limit) ?

A guest can withdraw a booking request, but not an inquiry (it is just a message)

If you want to be 100% sure the guest will not book, then block 1 night of the approved time period on the calender for next 24 hours (or less hours, depending on the time the pre-approval was sent)
