Is an airbnb allowed to host 7 guests from different households (e.g. a hen party)?
Hi - I'm not a host but use airbnb quite a bit. I live in Bath and a small flat near me is being let as a hen party venue for 7 people (in 2 bedrooms). Based on informal chats with the guests, I am certain that in many cases the groups staying are not related (they're young female friends enjoying a stay in Bath). I've not seen or found clear rules on whether airbnb properties are allowed to host 7 people from different households - and this is the best forum I've found so far to ask this question. Does anyone know what is/isn't currently allowed?

@James2483 Its unlikely that any info will be on Airbnb as they can't know all the various lockdown rules in every country let alone every town.
The Government rules for Bath, I believe, are no more than 2 households can meet inside at any one time. Quite who is breaking the law in the case you describe is less clear to me. I think its the guests not the host but I could be wrong especially is the host would be facilitating law breaking.

Quite apart from covid, different shires will have different rules about number of guests. In my area, max 5 without special permits regardless of house size. Check.
