Is an email from "community@withairbnb.com" legit?

I have this email from said sender, with subject "You have received a private message in the AirBnb community", signed by some guy Quincy.

I can't find that message anywhere, directly in my Airbnb profile or page, also don't see "@withairbnb.com" in the list of supposed legit domains.

any clue?

thank you!

Francesco

Hi @Francesco1654

I can confirm that this is a legitimate email - Quincy is a Community Manager here on the CC - along with myself, Sybe, Emilie and Stephanie.

It looks like you're a new community member so I expect he'll have sent you a direct message to welcome you to the community.

Thank you Jenny.  Good to know.  It's strange that this domain is not listed as a "safe domain", and also the fact there doesn't seem to be a way (an easy one, at least) to find these messages from my normal environment within AirBnb.com!   Still, thanks for clarifying!

kind regards

Francesco

@Francesco1654 if you click on your picture top right in the community centre you should find a message there.

Thank you Mike (or Jane? 🙂 ) ... I can see them here indeed... but I'd hoped to be able to access this from my "normal" hosting page, within AirBnb.com.  Anyway, now I know!  thanks again

@Francesco1654 the community centre is separate from Airbnb (and actually outsourced from Airbnb)
