Is it just me? Or is airbnb host support getting EVEN WORSE?

**

Another day, another terrible experience with airbnb support.

When will Airbnb start to recognize hosts as an essential part of their business?

It has become impossible to get through to anybody at @Airbnb who can explain what’s going on- or assist in even the most minor questions or issues.

With this situation, I have tried so hard to communicate that the messages I’m randomly being sent from Airbnb make no sense, grammatically and in relation to any current reservation.

Airbnb just threatened to cancel all my future reservations, with no explanation as to why, and would not respond with any indication of what’s happening. When I tried to ask for more help, they ended the chat and there’s no further way to contact them without starting an entirely new ticket.

@Carly142

Do not waste your time on Airbnb "support".

If it is a minor issue, just accept the artificially generated outcome and ignore them.

@Emiel1

The problem is, I don’t even know what the issue was… All they said is that if “this happens again”, they’ll cancel all my future reservations. But they didn’t explain what “this” was!!

I can post the entire message string, but it’s basically the same thing of going back-and-forth just asking, “What are you talking about? What are you talking about? Can I talk to a manager? Can somebody call me?”

I’ve never had an out of the blue bazaar message like this. I’m so so tired of airbnb.

@Carly142 Even if you get a “supervisor” it will be about the same circus.

And you will never be told what the reason is.

You can’t make this stuff up.

@Carly142  You aren't alone. This happens to many hosts. "You've done something wrong, but we can't tell you what it is, just don't do it again".

Don't try to make sense of it, it's simply insane. Can you imagine being arrested, but the police and courts refuse to tell you what you've been arrested for, and when you insist on being told, they won't say? It's just like that.

What happened is that some guest filed a complaint with Airbnb agaiinst you or your listing, even if it was a total lie, and Airbnb just took their word for it.

Did you have a weird, unfriendly, or complaining guest recently? Or someone you called out for ignoring your house rules who might have sought revenge?
