Is my account blocked or i have availability problem?

I have guests on hold who want to make a reservation and the dates they want just turned to'' not possible''. My friend tried to make an inquiry from his account and it seem all available dates on all my listings are not possible.

@Katie I assume technical are aware of this - Do they have an estimate for when it will be fixed?

I'm really you guys are experiencing this issue. We have already spotted this and flagged it with the tech team, and they are working on a fix, but no specific ETA yet, so I will update you as soon as we hear more.

@Hrvoje5  I tried successfully to initialize booking, it seems one of your apartments is free from August 21st and another one from 25th. Maybe this problem occurs with guests from other continents? Due to covid?

@Branka-and-Silvia0  I have someone trying to come to Chicago from France, but I don't see any specific travel restrictions for EU citizens visiting the US.

I know US residents visiting France are required to have a negative Covid test.

 

EDIT: actually, you may be correct. There are still apparently restrictions for Schengen states. But travellers who have reason to visit the US e.g. for work, may be granted admission through 15 selected airports (Chicago is one) where they receive additional screening. 

Update : no, not due to Covid. My guest is coming from New York. No Covid-block there.

It is not due to covid. All available dates are displayed correctly but when i approve enquiry i get following in the reservation details: C/P - ''NOT POSSIBLE'' and ''This guest reached out about Sep 21 – 24, but some or all of these dates are no longer available to book.''

The guest says they cant finish the booking and i only have the option to test the inquiry. Btw you have 2 cool apartments!

I’m having the same issue.  Guest had tried several times but it won’t book.  My approval was not accepted neither.  It said  Not possible

Heres the answer off the Grapevine for you:

 

Airbnb's reservation system is currently (August 19, 2020) having some errors. Pre-approvals turn to Not Possible status.

 

Solution: if approved reservation request turns to Not Possible the hosts needs to reply with a Special offer (if you don't update the price, it will remain the same as for the initial request) and the guest should be able to proceed for booking.

Is it a young person living locally. If so, likely to have been blocked because of their relatively new policy around blocking guests who represent red flags in terms of partying @Hrvoje5
