Is this legitimate or a scam?

Hi Just recently I received an email asking me to join an event at Noosa for a Super host, Super Celebration. Is this a real event or some type of scam? If it is real, What sorts of topics would be discussed?

No need to agonise over it @Bronwen11 as the event became completely sold out in less than 2 hours.

Airbnb occasionally hold local functions such as these to enable hosts to network adn to try to keep hosts sweet.  This is certainly the most up market that has been held for a while - usally it's in a park and everyone is asked to bring a plate.

I am not certain what would be discussed - if anything - this sounds more like a social event - but it would be an opportunity to meet other hosts in your local area.  There may be an airbnb rep there who could answer questions and concerns.

It sounds like you have not joined your local area FB group? There is one for the Sunshine Coast region.

That would be a better place to issues such as this - these are global boards and it's unlikely that someone from Croatia  for example would have the slightest idea what you were referring to.

Adrienne is the moderator.  If you go to facebook and search airbnb sunshine coast, you should get a hit

Good luck
