Issue accessing my account via the app

I just got back from a week in Fla, while I was there I got a booking request, I only had the app on my phone, not my computer.   I was unable to respond to the request.   The app told me i did not have permission to access my account.  What do I have to do in the future ?

@James229  If the app isn't working on your phone, and you don't have access to a computer, you can also use the phone's browser to navigate to the Desktop Version of airbnb.com 

 

Usually when there's a glitch, it's only in one version of the platform, so switching to another is the workaround.
