Keycafe experience

Hi,

I started using keycafe as a host in amsterdam and signed for a year contract beginning of February 2019 for an annual rate of € 211,-.

To my astonishment I was billed in February 2020 an amount of € 423,50, without any announcement or messaging, nor by email nor by letter.

I just chatted with the company and they say once I agreed on an annual service I would have to accept this.

 

I am very surprised about this intransparent business behaviour, anybody else having made similar experiences?

Sounds like you signed a contract with a rollover clause if you didn't cancel with appropriate notice @Georg2010 

 

Happens on all sorts of contracts ie your phone, utilities, broadband etc.

 

I always diary any contracts like this so I can cancel in good time.
