I am noticing a trend with last minute cancelations. Guest are rebooking their trip a few days before their original checking in to then later cancel their future reservation to avoid the late cancelation fee. This has happened to me three times this year. Has this happened to anyone here? Not sure how to avoid this going forward. Looking for advise.
Not new, been happening for years. Don't accept the change. Have them cancel & rebook if needed. You can give them back the otiginal money once they complete their stay or do something along the line.
