Long term lets

Long term let's.  If you let for 2 weeks up to 3 months, do you include cleaning and linen change in the nightly cost or is there somewhere where these services can be added ?

You can only add 1 cleaning fee to a listing, bed linen etc must be included in the nightly price (but if short or long stay, bedlinen must be provided anyway, like all amenities mentioned in the listing).

For "long term stays" (28 nights +) you can make special appointments with guests about cleaning,  change of bed linen etc..   Most guests prefer privacy and like to change the bed themself with the (by the host) provided bed linen

I don't charge a mandatory cleaning fee and the general cleaning of the listings (mine are private rooms in a shared homestay) but I give guests the option of either me cleaning their bedrooms and changing/washing their bedlinens/towels for a small fee, or they can opt to do it themselves and I supply cleaning materials.

It's maybe not that economical for me, but I really haven't found an easier way to do it as Airbnb only let's you charge a one-off, not ongoing regular, fee for cleaning in your advertised price, which doesn't really doesn't account for long-term hosting.

As other hosts have explained, the cleaning fee is charged only once no matter how short or long the booking is.

My listing was a single-occupancy private room (shared home), and I used to host a lot of long-term exchange student guests (anywhere from 1~ 5 months). I did not charge a separate cleaning fee but I made sure the cost of weekly cleaning & sheet changes (which usually took 1hr/wk) and laundry for sheets and guest towels (we preferred to handle laundry for guest sheets and towels to ensure stains are treated properly beforehand and they are washed to our standards) was reflected in the nightly rate and final payout I would be getting from the booking. We did our own cleaning and laundry but we always made sure we "paid ourselves" for hosting-related labor.

Some hosts choose not to provide a weekly/monthly discount in order to offset cleaning costs during longer stays.
