I have been hosting on Airbnb for well over five years abs retained my Superhost status BUT I received one incorrect and grumpy review last year which ruined my position. I appealed to Airbnb twice to look into it but they came back saying they couldn’t remove the 1 star review despite that practically all my reviews were 5 star Over thus very long period . Her accusations were completely unfounded abd untrue and anyone reading all my others could tell that.
it is a very unfair system indeed that ONE review during this dreadful pandemic can pull me down so much. I will happily discuss it with you and explained what she did, just a nine night guest too, and ruined my status. It had put me off Airbnb as I feel considering how hard we work everyday to make our guests happy this is a very hard system to accept, there should be a way of averaging all my wonderful reviews in the past to negate this one untruthful one, but owing to the pandemic I have been unable to regain the status as I am not allowed to just people at the moment.

Do contact Airbnb to discuss about the case again.
Airbnb will remove the review that violated the housing standard in a few minutes if you're with the right team.
Do contact Airbnb Support Help Center, “ Live Chat " with the team( not with an Airbnb bot ), that is always someone here to answer you within a few minutes, report the inaccurate review to the case manager, they may pass your case to the specialist team and evaluate the review and remove it if violates the guidelines.

We Hope the HAB members seriously look into the lacks of Airbnb reviews standards system and help the hosts and the guests.

Airbnb do not just remove reviews that meet their terms if you 'happen to get the right team'
@Bez8 what your view on Airbnb allowing what are clearly revenge reviews by guests resulting in long standing hosts losing their SH like @Ann13
and can you find out why Airbnb hasn't implemented their policy of allowing one outlier review to be removed annually ?

Fingers crossed, she can rebadge as Superhost by the next Superhost stage in April' 2021.
@Ann13 I can't see anything in the review that doesn't meet the rules for reviews set by Airbnb. As such you will, I am afraid, be very unlikely to get the review removed.
