Message Problems

About 3 weeks ago all my hosting messages from the past two years disappeared from my inbox.  I asked the help desk for support beginning on February 5th.  Still no resolution, supposedly it's with the "IT Department" but no one from that department has contacted me and apparently we aren't allowed to contact them.  Has this happened to anyone else?  Was there a resolution?  Right now I receive guest messages by email but they do not appear in the Airbnb app's inbox.  For booked guests I can only find or send messages by first going to the calendar to click on the reservation.

 

This is crazy and the customer support is lacking significantly.  3 weeks with no progress and no way to escalate.

You can temporary reply on emails received as copies in your private email box.

BTW When using the website (not the app) , is the INbox also empty ?

 

Hopefully the issues will be solved soon.

Yes, I am relying on my personal email which isn’t good. And it also isn’t working on the website.

I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing that issue. 

 

In order for me to get the tech team to look into it, could you please let me know if you're using the app on Android or iOS?

 

Hopefully we can get to the bottom of it soon.
