Welcome to the Community Center! 👋  I'm @Bhumika , one of the Community Managers for our English Community Center along with my lovely team members @Quincy @Paula @Rebecca  and @Elisa  and we are thrilled to have you join us.

Let's kickstart this thread with a little about us Community Managers:

@Quincy : I'm from the Netherlands 🇳🇱 I have been on the Community Center for 6+ years, and have been an Airbnb Host myself. I love cycling🚲, playing football⚽, and travelling🌏 . I love how dynamic and diverse the Community Center is as we meet Hosts from all around the globe. 

@Bhumika :  🌍 I was born in Gujarat, India 🇮🇳 , and shifted to Toronto, Canada 🇨🇦 last year! 📷 I recently realized my love for photography and aesthetics. I love to capture mundane life and candid pictures. 🌆 When I'm not working, you'll find me binge-watching thriller movies or exploring history.

@Paula : I am from Colombia 🇨🇴 and currently living in British Columbia, Canada 🇨🇦. I have a passion for Latin American culture (I love to dance 💃) . I've had the opportunity to visit around 20 countries 🌎 and plan to visit many more. In my free time, I enjoy outdoor activities, especially mountain biking 🚲 and hiking 🏔.

@Rebecca : I'm from Cardiff in Wales originally but being a military child and a veterans spouse, I've travelled and lived in a lot of different places in the UK and Europe. I'm an environmentalist 🌿 and like to minimise my impact on the planet 🌎 as well as volunteering in my local community.  I love sea swimming 🌊 yoga on the beach 🧘‍ and I'm a children's yoga instructor too! 🙌 

@Elisa : I was born in Italy 🇮🇹 and as a lover of unique experiences—from exploring the streets of Rome🇮🇹 , Paris 🇫🇷, and Toronto 🇨🇦 to appreciating timeless art and cuisine—I'm here to blend the old with the new.

I love Chile! I had the opportunity to live there for a year, and it was a wonderful experience. I especially enjoyed the south of the country—the mix of lakes and mountains is so unique, and I loved the architecture in that area. Have you visited the south? Do you have any recommendations for good places to visit?

¡Qué genial! Chile es realmente hermoso, con una geografía única que te permite estar en la playa y en la nieve el mismo día. El sur es un sueño, y justamente en estos días estoy por viajar a Pucón. Ya lo he visitado varias veces y lo súper recomiendo, es un lugar espectacular para explorar.

Actualmente, estoy hospedando en Santiago en mi propio departamento, y también soy coanfitriona de cuatro propiedades de mi pareja. Tenemos planes de seguir sumando más propiedades pronto, y yo seré la coanfitriona de todas. Por eso me uní a esta comunidad, para aprender de otros anfitriones y recibir buenos consejos. 😊

@Valeska37 Precisamente, Pucón fue el lugar que visité, y parte de mi corazón se quedó allá. Sin lugar a dudas, es uno de los lugares más especiales que he visitado.

@Valeska37 Pucón was actually the place I visited, and I left a piece of my heart there. Without a doubt, it's one of the most special places I’ve ever been.

How awesome! Chile is truly beautiful, with such a unique geography that lets you be at the beach and in the snow all in the same day. The south is a dream, and actually, I’m about to travel to Pucón soon. I’ve visited it several times, and I highly recommend it—it’s an amazing place to explore.

Currently, I’m hosting in Santiago in my own apartment, and I also co-host four of my partner’s properties. We’re planning to add more properties soon, and I’ll be co-hosting all of them. That’s why I joined this community, to learn from other hosts and get great advice. 😊

Hi I am Geva from Braemar in the Cairngorms National Park in Scotland. Braemar is a real hot spot as we have the best countryside in Scotland (Oh yes we do!) and a very smart hotel called the Fife Arms which brings stars to the village. Not everyone can afford the hotel so we have opened up our 2nd home (which is right behind us) that our grown up children come and stay in for discerning visitors. We arent cheap, I dont want back to back bookings, its a luxury house inside and very well equipped
