Welcome to the Community Center! 👋  I'm @Bhumika , one of the Community Managers for our English Community Center along with my lovely team members @Quincy @Paula @Rebecca @Elisa @Alex @Emilie and we are thrilled to have you join us.

@Quincy : I'm from the Netherlands 🇳🇱 I have been on the Community Center for 6+ years, and have been an Airbnb Host myself. I love cycling🚲, playing football⚽, and travelling🌏 . I love how dynamic and diverse the Community Center is as we meet Hosts from all around the globe. 

@Bhumika :  🌍 I was born in Gujarat, India 🇮🇳 , and shifted to Toronto, Canada 🇨🇦 last year! 📷 I recently realized my love for photography and aesthetics. I love to capture mundane life and candid pictures. 🌆 When I'm not working, you'll find me binge-watching thriller movies or exploring history.

@Paula : I am from Colombia 🇨🇴 and currently living in British Columbia, Canada 🇨🇦. I have a passion for Latin American culture (I love to dance 💃) . I've had the opportunity to visit around 20 countries 🌎 and plan to visit many more. In my free time, I enjoy outdoor activities, especially mountain biking 🚲 and hiking 🏔.

@Rebecca : I'm from Cardiff in Wales originally but being a military child and a veterans spouse, I've travelled and lived in a lot of different places in the UK and Europe. I'm an environmentalist 🌿 and like to minimise my impact on the planet 🌎 as well as volunteering in my local community.  I love sea swimming 🌊 yoga on the beach 🧘‍ and I'm a children's yoga instructor too! 🙌 

@Elisa : I was born in Italy 🇮🇹 and as a lover of unique experiences—from exploring the streets of Rome🇮🇹 , Paris 🇫🇷, and Toronto 🇨🇦 to appreciating timeless art and cuisine—I'm here to blend the old with the new. 

@Alex : I'm originally from Spain 🇪🇸, but my passion for traveling made me move to Toronto🇨🇦 this year to explore the culture and add another unforgettable experience to my journey ✈️. I'm also passionate about all kinds of sports ⚽️ (especially football, in which I played at a semi-professional level) and love to discover new dishes everywhere I go. 🥘

@Mengistu: I’m from Ethiopia 🇪🇹 and live just a 3-minute walk from the beautiful Lake Tana, the largest lake in the country. I’ve been an Airbnb host for 9 years but am now excited to actively welcome guests from all over the world to my lakeside paradise. 🌊 Nature inspires me, which is why my home is located near the stunning source of the Blue Nile, only 26 minutes away. 🎨 I love painting, art, and interior design, and I’d be thrilled to share the beauty of my surroundings with you. I am Roy Chacko, born in Thrissur, Kerala, India.

I completed my studies primarily in South India, worked in Bombay, and traveled extensively during my time with the Tata Group.

Recently, I ventured into the homestay business (7Elysee Homes) and for the past four months, I’ve been enjoying every moment of hosting on Airbnb in Thrissur, the cultural capital of Kerala.

Thrissur derives its name from its city center, home to the iconic Vadakkunnathan Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva.

The city holds a unique place in history, being where Christianity took root in 52 AD and Islam in 650 AD. It continues to stand as a beacon of religious diversity and mutual respect.

Beyond hosting, my passion for motorcycling keeps me grounded and rolling. You can catch glimpses of my journeys on my Instagram handle: nightroyder.

Hi, I'm in Sydney Australia, new to AirBnb hosting, I've been doing it for 3 months. So far so good, I'm finding useful tips here in community posts. I'm an artist, animator and university lecturer, who has loved traveling to many countries and worked for years in California on films and tv, now back here in my apartment near my family.
