Welcome to the Community Center! 👋  I'm @Elisa , one of the Community Managers for our English Community Center along with my lovely team members @Quincy @Paula @Rebecca @Bhumika @Alex @Emilie and we are thrilled to have you join us.

Let's kickstart this thread with a little about us Community Managers:

@Quincy : I'm from the Netherlands 🇳🇱 I have been on the Community Center for 7+ years, and have been an Airbnb Host myself. I love cycling🚲, playing football⚽, and travelling🌏 . I love how dynamic and diverse the Community Center is as we meet Hosts from all around the globe. 

@Bhumika :  🌍 I was born in Gujarat, India 🇮🇳 , and shifted to Toronto, Canada 🇨🇦 last year! 📷 I recently realized my love for photography and aesthetics. I love to capture mundane life and candid pictures. 🌆 When I'm not working, you'll find me binge-watching thriller movies or exploring history.

@Paula : I am from Colombia 🇨🇴 and currently living in British Columbia, Canada 🇨🇦. I have a passion for Latin American culture (I love to dance 💃) . I've had the opportunity to visit around 20 countries 🌎 and plan to visit many more. In my free time, I enjoy outdoor activities, especially mountain biking 🚲 and hiking 🏔.

@Rebecca : I'm from Cardiff in Wales originally but being a military child and a veterans spouse, I've travelled and lived in a lot of different places in the UK and Europe. I'm an environmentalist 🌿 and like to minimise my impact on the planet 🌎 as well as volunteering in my local community.  I love sea swimming 🌊 yoga on the beach 🧘‍ and I'm a children's yoga instructor too! 🙌 

@Elisa : I was born in Italy 🇮🇹 and as a lover of unique experiences—from exploring the streets of Rome🇮🇹 , Paris 🇫🇷, and Toronto 🇨🇦 to appreciating timeless art and cuisine—I'm here to blend the old with the new. 

@Alex : I'm originally from Spain 🇪🇸, but my passion for traveling made me move to Toronto🇨🇦 this year to explore the culture and add another unforgettable experience to my journey ✈️. I'm also passionate about all kinds of sports ⚽️ (especially football, in which I played at a semi-professional level) and love to discover new dishes everywhere I go. 🥘

@Emilie : I was born in France 🇫🇷, raised in French Polynesia 🌺 and Morocco 🇲🇦, and have settled in the UK for 14 years now! On evenings and weekends, you will find me spending time with my dog, working on a jigsaw, or trying my hand at some new cuisine. 🍲

Hi to  everyone, I am Michael From Egypt Cairo that where I am mainly from and where I am hosting, but at the moment I live in Italy on the hills of "val-tidone". I have been hosting in Cairo from four years,  but since I moved to Italy where I don't have a suitable place for hosting so I decided to start co-hosting. and I just created my co-hot profile so, wish me luck!

Actually my wife is Italian, and we were living in Egypt until we have had a baby, so we decided to transfer here. I hope that we have did the right choice😂.

regarding the co-hosting experience, my profile just got activated this morning, "sono giovani come l'aqua"  😂

I would like to take this chance to ask you, is there enough requests on co-host services in Italy specially in the area of Piacenza and province? or it will be just something casual every couple of moths ?

I´m Paola, Argentinian living in Italy since september. I´m a co-host of an appartment in Buenos Aires. I recently moved to Florence Italy, and I'm looking for any job opportunities. I'm an interior designer, and I'd love to help with any interior design projects for your apartment, such as renovations or home staging.

I'm also open to co-hosting here in Florence.

I came to Italy to do my citizenship and now i move to Florence from Calabria, looking for a bigger city where i can find a good job.

Florence is beautiful! Full of art and history.

Hi Elisa.

I am from the Mid North Coast of NSW in Australia, a slice of tropical paradise. Summer here now (the wet season) so its nice and warm and humid! Never mind we have aircon and a decent sized lap pool to cool down in and keep fit. If that does not suit we are less than 100 metres to the beautiful Pacific Ocean, cannot quite see the waves but we can hear them crashing onto almost 3 kilometres of unspoiled and uninhabited beach. Have been hosting with Airbnb for more than 6 years along with my wife, Phyllis. We have four rooms for let each with its own bathroom. Breakfast at Sapphire Chambre is epic and includes home made breads and cakes along with Phyllis' famous banana bread as well as a full cooked English ( Irish?) Breakfast of bacon and eggs, hashbrowns, tomatoes and mushrooms. What's not to like?
