Welcome to the Community Center! 👋  I'm @Elisa , one of the Community Managers for our English Community Center along with my lovely team members @Quincy @Paula @Rebecca @Bhumika @Alex @Emilie and we are thrilled to have you join us.

Let's kickstart this thread with a little about us Community Managers:

@Quincy : I'm from the Netherlands 🇳🇱 I have been on the Community Center for 7+ years, and have been an Airbnb Host myself. I love cycling🚲, playing football⚽, and travelling🌏 . I love how dynamic and diverse the Community Center is as we meet Hosts from all around the globe. 

@Bhumika :  🌍 I was born in Gujarat, India 🇮🇳 , and shifted to Toronto, Canada 🇨🇦 last year! 📷 I recently realized my love for photography and aesthetics. I love to capture mundane life and candid pictures. 🌆 When I'm not working, you'll find me binge-watching thriller movies or exploring history.

@Paula : I am from Colombia 🇨🇴 and currently living in British Columbia, Canada 🇨🇦. I have a passion for Latin American culture (I love to dance 💃) . I've had the opportunity to visit around 20 countries 🌎 and plan to visit many more. In my free time, I enjoy outdoor activities, especially mountain biking 🚲 and hiking 🏔.

@Rebecca : I'm from Cardiff in Wales originally but being a military child and a veterans spouse, I've travelled and lived in a lot of different places in the UK and Europe. I'm an environmentalist 🌿 and like to minimise my impact on the planet 🌎 as well as volunteering in my local community.  I love sea swimming 🌊 yoga on the beach 🧘‍ and I'm a children's yoga instructor too! 🙌 

@Elisa : I was born in Italy 🇮🇹 and as a lover of unique experiences—from exploring the streets of Rome🇮🇹 , Paris 🇫🇷, and Toronto 🇨🇦 to appreciating timeless art and cuisine—I'm here to blend the old with the new. 

@Alex : I'm originally from Spain 🇪🇸, but my passion for traveling made me move to Toronto🇨🇦 this year to explore the culture and add another unforgettable experience to my journey ✈️. I'm also passionate about all kinds of sports ⚽️ (especially football, in which I played at a semi-professional level) and love to discover new dishes everywhere I go. 🥘

@Emilie : I was born in France 🇫🇷, raised in French Polynesia 🌺 and Morocco 🇲🇦, and have settled in the UK for 14 years now! On evenings and weekends, you will find me spending time with my dog, working on a jigsaw, or trying my hand at some new cuisine. 🍲

Hi , I am commonly known in our place as M.  So, let me introduce myself as M😊.

I am in Davao City, Philippines.  I.love cooking, my love of cooking makes me travel all over Asia to take a bite of all the sumptuous foods that Asian cuisine has to offer.

I love the sea and mountains... 

This is the reason why I got a rental place in Davao where the balcony faces the famous mystical Mt Apo, and the serene Samal sea. 

Infront you can see the condo's mini garden where you can seat on the bench and relax.

Anyone you want to  come and visit to the Philippines, please visit my place...

Hello everyone! Happy and thrilled to be part of this community. I am AnuKi and I am from Georgia 🇬🇪 (the country). I live at the Capital of Georgia -Tbilisi and have to two places here and managing it all by myself. It’s challenging for me especially doing it with my two beautiful and very active baby girls. Managing two places while taking care of your active little ones sounds like quite the adventure. How do you balance hosting with family life, and what do you love most about being a host in Tbilisi?

Hello Everyone!

My name is Griffin Hill, I am from Columbus, Ohio, USA! I have been hosting on Airbnb for about 2 years now. I am a member of the Experienced Co-Host Network on Airbnb and I'm a superhost! I also have my own short-term rental management company, MGH Hospitality Management LLC. Since launching my company 6 months ago we have grown from managing 1 Airbnb to 8, with no plans of slowing down! I write blog posts on the short-term rental industry, Airbnb hosting, and more on our company website. This is not meant to be a promotion so I won't link it here haha! 

In the past year I have created a few beautiful Airbnb's, some from the ground up with full scale furnishing and design services. I have found a deep passion for this aspect of the business, focusing on intricate design, and incorporating special amenities and touches for guests.

Before I ever thought about hosting, I actually used Airbnb to travel the world! After graduating college, I went on an 8 month+ trip around the world, and used Airbnb to "slow travel," staying in each location for about a month! This is what sparked the idea to get into the Airbnb business as a host, and I am forever grateful for the perspective I gained as a traveler through Airbnb. I try to keep focus on this perspective as a host!

In the past I have used facebook groups to help other hosts and engage in Airbnb community discussions. However, after learning about the community center I am eager to engage more here and use this as a tool and way to help moving forward!
