Welcome to the Community Center! 👋  I'm @Elisa , one of the Community Managers for our English Community Center along with my lovely team members @Quincy @Paula @Rebecca @Bhumika @Alex @Emilie and we are thrilled to have you join us.

Let's kickstart this thread with a little about us Community Managers:

@Quincy : I'm from the Netherlands 🇳🇱 I have been on the Community Center for 7+ years, and have been an Airbnb Host myself. I love cycling🚲, playing football⚽, and travelling🌏 . I love how dynamic and diverse the Community Center is as we meet Hosts from all around the globe. 

@Bhumika :  🌍 I was born in Gujarat, India 🇮🇳 , and shifted to Toronto, Canada 🇨🇦 last year! 📷 I recently realized my love for photography and aesthetics. I love to capture mundane life and candid pictures. 🌆 When I'm not working, you'll find me binge-watching thriller movies or exploring history.

@Paula : I am from Colombia 🇨🇴 and currently living in British Columbia, Canada 🇨🇦. I have a passion for Latin American culture (I love to dance 💃) . I've had the opportunity to visit around 20 countries 🌎 and plan to visit many more. In my free time, I enjoy outdoor activities, especially mountain biking 🚲 and hiking 🏔.

@Rebecca : I'm from Cardiff in Wales originally but being a military child and a veterans spouse, I've travelled and lived in a lot of different places in the UK and Europe. I'm an environmentalist 🌿 and like to minimise my impact on the planet 🌎 as well as volunteering in my local community.  I love sea swimming 🌊 yoga on the beach 🧘‍ and I'm a children's yoga instructor too! 🙌 

@Elisa : I was born in Italy 🇮🇹 and as a lover of unique experiences—from exploring the streets of Rome🇮🇹 , Paris 🇫🇷, and Toronto 🇨🇦 to appreciating timeless art and cuisine—I'm here to blend the old with the new. 

@Alex : I'm originally from Spain 🇪🇸, but my passion for traveling made me move to Toronto🇨🇦 this year to explore the culture and add another unforgettable experience to my journey ✈️. I'm also passionate about all kinds of sports ⚽️ (especially football, in which I played at a semi-professional level) and love to discover new dishes everywhere I go. 🥘

@Emilie : I was born in France 🇫🇷, raised in French Polynesia 🌺 and Morocco 🇲🇦, and have settled in the UK for 14 years now! On evenings and weekends, you will find me spending time with my dog, working on a jigsaw, or trying my hand at some new cuisine. 🍲

I'm from Greece  and just started my journey as an Airbnb host. I’ve worked as a cook for 5 years —cooking is one of my biggest passions. I also love nature and take care of my own little garden filled with flowers  and fresh ingredients like tomatoes  and herbs

Thank you for having me! 😊 Yes, when they're in season and I have enough (since it's still a small garden), I love giving my guests tomatoes from my garden – and so far, I think they're my favorite, along with eggplant. It's a small touch, but guests always seem to appreciate it.

Paula Dean, or Rachel Ray have nothing on me. I collected cookbooks as a hobby and used them for years.

So, we hopped to a different mountain and have a home in Sierra Vista, AZ. Small town charm and big city convenient.  A hidden gem/ jewel and a vacation hot spot. Tell all your friends and family to meet you at the Hummingbird House.

My name is Jeremy, and I am the proud owner of uMhlanga Lodge, a charming retreat located in the picturesque La Lucia area of uMhlanga Rocks, South Africa. At uMhlanga Lodge, we pride ourselves on providing a welcoming atmosphere where guests can relax and enjoy their stay. I have a passion for socialising and love meeting people from diverse backgrounds all over the world. It is my goal to ensure that every visitor leaves with unforgettable memories of their time at our lodge.

On our property, we have a delightful assortment of pets that add to the charm of our home. Currently, there are 1 and 3/4 friendly cats, including a brave little one named Alex, who is missing a leg but is full of spirit and affection.

My name is Ismail and I'm originally from Morocco. I grew up surrounded by a rich culture, warm hospitality, and amazing food. I'm a mobile app developer, but I also enjoy hosting and sharing the beauty of my city with travelers from all over the world.

My place is located in a quiet and cozy area, close to local cafés, traditional markets, and some hidden gems that guests love discovering. I always try to help visitors feel like locals during their stay.

I'm Mila—originally a New Yorker, but proud to now call Texas my home. After retiring from the military (I was stationed at Fort Hood Army Base), I decided to settle down here in the Lone Star State, and I’ve been happily rooted in this community since 2006.
