Hi everyone,
I’m an experienced host who lives in Sheffield and would like to offer out my cleaning services to other hosts in my local community. I have signed up to the Covid-19 enhanced cleaning protocol and I’m well aware of its requirements, and guests who have staid with us have always given us top marks for cleanliness of our apartment. Now the lockdown has lifted, and people are returning to work, I’d like to offer my help in cleaning your rental spaces as I’m aware of how difficult it is to fit the extra cleaning into our busy day-to-day life. Thanks, Emily
Hi @Emily1234 I hope you are well!
You have a lovely listing and great reviews, I am you'll be a great support to hosts who need help preparing for their guests.
A good place to look for potential clients are local hosting Facebook groups, you might find hosts posting looking for support more regularly on those.
Make sure you check in here as often as you can to look out for posts from hosts looking for support in your area, they might not come up as often- but if they do it's because hosts might not be aware of or have access to Facebook etc.
I tend to reply to other hosts posts who are looking for support, rather than post myself offering personal support- as this can be a bit of a grey area on the forum.
If you need any help or advice on co-hosting in the meantime, feel free to send me a private message!
Best wishes
Paul 🙂
Great advice from @Paul1255 . As he says it's about you looking at how you proactively market this service to target hosts.
Good to see that after hosting for a few months, you are now looking to diversify your business. @Emily1234
If you haven't done so already do look at setting up a FB page and website so you can then invest in targeted online and social media ads to drive traffic to your channels.
I can't agree with Paul though that it's a grey area about those offering commercial service posting their ads on this website. The T&Cs in this community make it quite clear that these ads are not allowed.
As Paul says be pro-active and respond to those looking for support of relevant forums such as this one and FB groups, but in line with the T&Cs don't post ads for your service without checking the terms for the relevant platform to ensure this is allowed. You don't want to end up being banned from a platform/group.
AIRBNB CONTENT POLICY FOR THE COMMUNITY FORUM
Ensure you adhere to rules in Airbnb’s Content Policy such as not posting advertisements or revealing personal information like phone numbers for yourself or others. This is a public forum where content in public boards are accessible to anyone.
Great marketing advice @Helen3 !
I say grey area, as hosts who post advertisements looking for support are also going against the content policy.
