I often get asked for discounts and to do offline bookings to avoid fees and taxes.
It's really frustrating to converse on these issues.
How do you make it visible before any one sends a request ?
@Anand217 … I suspect that anything on your listing that indicates you are happy to take off platform reservations will ‘Fast Track’ you to being delisted. If someone messages you with an enquiry or request suggesting a phone number to communicate ‘off platform’ simply let them know that you will only communicate through messages and agree any discounts etc there.
If you receive requests, then the guest is ready to book for offered price and via Airbnb.
If you receive such inquiries , just sent a simple answer and leave it (no obligation to decline).
When guest asking to book offline, you can report the message to Airbnb ("report" link), as it is a violations of terms. Often Airbnb AI recognizes already this and show a message similar like "is everything OK ?", already providing an option to report instantly, without needing to reply.

@Anand217 Simply tell the person that you do not run the Airbnb except through on line bookings and that no one including them would be covered for insurance if you did . just say all of your business is only online. Some places like caravan parks run also, separately to their online bookings but Airbnbs do not generally . that is all you have to say . give them the benefit of the doubt because some places did or do run that way ,just tell them that you do not .H
Anand you can just put"online bookings only" in your rules if it is really an issue .
Its very dangerous to try and communicate about offline bookings. I have personally had a friends Airbnb listing removed because of these actions.
