I could tell you the difference between an Oxford comma, an apostrophe and an m dash and an n dash.

but I have no idea how you can prove an online review is genuine. 

How do you fake a signature to prove a delivery has arrived? 

We are genuinely curious, my husband and I.  We host a lot and know how to touch up photos.

We are thinking of investing in a drone to get shots of our house from above.

How easy is it to use a drone? Will you take time to show me?

@Sarah284 Great questions,  and I love your curiosity! You're absolutely right, spotting fake reviews isn’t always black and white, especially when they're well-written. While Airbnb has systems in place to detect suspicious activity (like mismatched booking data, repeated patterns, or location discrepancies), it’s still tricky to prove the authenticity of a review in every case.

As for drones, yes! They’re fantastic for capturing the scale and vibe of a property, especially for listings with gardens, pools, or beautiful surroundings. Many newer drones (like DJI models) are super user-friendly and come with beginner flight modes. You can literally be up and flying in under an hour with a bit of guidance, but yes, having someone show you the ropes (or taking a short course) is absolutely worth it.

There are also other tech options such as Google Earth and AI apps that can take drone shots without the presence of a drone.
