Roku

Can you all just get rid of ROKU it never works and sucks for local news and weather.  I understand it’s cheaper for you but seriously I will boycott anymore houses that offer this and post on Reddit etc. nobody can like this

So sorry you don't like Roku. Do you have your own subscriptions to streaming services?

You can easily scan the amenities section to determine if the Host provides guests with streaming services or not and you can easily book elsewhere if they don't. Most hotels do have some free streaming services for guests.

Hi @Jodi564 😊

Thank you for asking this question here!

What do you think of Joan's suggestions? Have you already tried scanning the amenities section to understand this better?

Warm regards, 🌻

@Jodi564  I understand that you are unhappy with ROKU or other streaming devices being provided by hosts.  Many hosts are doing this so that people can upload their own streaming codes and watch the programming that they are accustomed to.  Perhaps you should be bringing your own laptop, ipad or phone.  Cable TV in our area runs $275 a month, which is no longer affordable.
