Our car hit by host

We are currently staying at a host property in Salt Lake City, UT. We were asked to park on the right hand side of hosts driveway which is where we parked. When we came out to the car today to get a few belongings we discovered that our front bumper in the drivers side has been hit and is now smashed in. There is also a cap missing that covers the tow hooks. It looks like the host pulled out of their garage without even looking and hit our front bumper, smashing it in. We cannot conclude to any other theory. Nobody brought this damage to our attention and we have been trying to connect with the host since discovering this damage this afternoon, but to no avail. 
How do we go about filing a claim and with whom? Please advise, we are very upset and frustrated at this point. The entire bumper will need to be replaced. At least a $500 repair!

I think you will have more success with your car insurance. It appears you have absolutely no proof as to when, where or how this damage happened.
