Private listing

Hi everyone, 

I'm in Abu Dhabi UAE, I found a room in one public website, but the host send me some link to book the room and payment process is available on the link under Airbnb name , and he she said that the room is a private listing that why not visible in my Airbnb app .

So please I need a help , I did never use Airbnb and I'm going to book the room for months .

It's normal or it's a scam there ?

Yah, that s what I think . I asked because there is a Airbnb platform to process payment too on the link.

Never book outside the platform.

"Private listing" sounds like the usual scam.

there is a Airbnb platform on the link (pic, details, booking) , but when I check on my airbnb app , the room is not there . 😑

Beware of scammers! 
Airbnb never ask you to pay by bank transfers, western union or money grams.

All payment though Airbnb and reservation to Airbnb platform only.

@Youness14  There is no such thing as a private listing through Airbnb. All Airbnb listings are public. 

Please read all the information provided for guests about how Airbnb works, how to book, etc, that is found on their main website in the Help section, so you can easily spot a scam.
