Rental house

Hi I wonder if anyone can help me I new to Airbnb we’re going to be renting a house from a lady in Bournemouth we have not seen the house and we have paid a deposit and we have to move out by next Wednesday we been told that we are looking at the house on Monday we been round there and we think some one is living there  can you please help me

I’m not sure if you have been scammed. There is a “common” deposit scam – at Airbnb you don’t pay any direct deposits, all payment and the deposit is handled by the platform.

How did you pay, and to whom?
