Scheduled messages - using short code

Hi! Question re short codes in the scheduled message feature. When I inserted the short code, in the message to the guest it displayed the entire contents of whatever I was trying to include and not my intention which was a link. 
that’s good for things like first name, but is there a way to have it be a link so the guest can click on it and be taken to another screen. Specifically I have a short code for my house manual. I thought it would be a link to the house manual as mine is quite long. But for my guest the entire manual was included in the message. Thanks!

@Sarika9  No, the short code is going to supply the entire text from your listing associated with the code.  Whatever it says in your listing under the heading of each short code is what will be sent as a message.  Guest name, name of listing, getting around, house manual, driving directions - the guest will get the full text from your listing.
