Shortened Stay During Covid 19

So I had a long term stay shorten their stay by two weeks due to the Coronavirus situation. I had a caseworker assigned to follow up about getting paid for the time they didn’t use. Because I was cordial and trying to be understanding of their situation, I get docked the pay for the mutual cancellation. This after our CEO addressed all hosts that made a statement about getting reimbursed for any covid-related cancels with reservations made prior to March 14th and stays made up until May. Am I wrong to ask for pay of a covid related cancel as I try to keep my Airbnb business afloat during this difficult time to earn income? This is my 8th year hosting at Airbnb, Super Host at that, and a rare instance that I feel shut down by support of the company.
