I am looking for hosts that rent sustainable housing options on the Airbnb platform to complete my questionnaire. This can be any type of accommodation that has a sustainable infrastructure (treehouses, chalets, tents, earth homes, cabins, etc), that either provide guests with non-toxic house cleaning products, renewable energy, organic sheets, towels, and mattresses, or any other type of green practices and lastly, you can also participate if you provide any type of sustainable experiences such as eco-farming.
If this sounds like the type of lodging that you provide, I would like to ask you to take part in the research study that is part of my MSc/BSc at Brunel University London and that has been approved by the College of Health, Medicine and Life Sciences Research Ethics Committee from 25/07/2022 until 13/09/2022.
The research topic for my Final Year Project is “Renting green: Exploring hosts’ awareness and impacts of sustainability on Airbnb” and I invite you to share/ participate in my questionnaire, where you will be asked to answer some questions about your attitude and behaviour towards or own and other sustainable housing options on Airbnb.
Even though this study will be completely anonymous, in order for me to properly analyse the data I will need you to identify, in the questionnaire, the house “name” that you have given to your property on the Airbnb platform. However, all identifying information about yourself or the space that you own will be removed.
