@Anonymous did you see the location of the highest temperature record in Northern Ireland yesterday?

@Mike-And-Jane0 Not Andrew, but do tell. Extreme weather in western Canada currently, too. The worst is hopefully behind us, for now (still many fires burning in B.C. though)  but something else is right around the corner no doubt. I believe we will all experience extreme weather events more and more as time goes on.

@Colleen253 Extreme temperature (highest ever in Northern Ireland of 31.2C).Not perhaps very high in global terms but it occurred in Ballywatticock that rivals Cockermouth which Andrew found amusing as a town name.

 

 

Ah, I see the point of your post, then. 🤣

@Mike-And-Jane0  It's not quite as precisely profane as Cockermouth, but if the trend of global warming persists on the current trajectory, it might be fascinating to see how the civilians of Mallorca and Ibiza decide they must escape the apocalyptic realities imposed on them by their normal tourists and spend their summer holidays in Ballywatticock. 

 

It's too dark to make a limerick, but fascinating.
