2) The host has just updated their prices

3) The host is using smart pricing which is adjusting relative to demand in the area

4) A glitch

5) Something else

Based on the above 'a glitch' comes up twice but does that make it more likely?

Who knows. I suggest you book a place that is at a reasonable price and don't worry too much about how that price is set.
