Hello everyone,

I hope you're all having a great week!

As part of my thesis for an MBA, I want to talk about the motivations (reasons) for why you book an Airbnb experience.

Is it due to the ability to experience things outside the tourist track? Or are the tight itineraries for these activities reasons for not booking an Airbnb experience?

Whether you are not attracted to these activities due to lack of independence, flexibility or you feel they don’t offer anything valuable, I would love hearing from you about your general motivations for choosing or not choosing activities through the Airbnb platform.

This is a host forum, so most of us have much more experience hosting than traveling with Airbnb.

@Jackie570  This isn't a host forum- it's open to both hosts and guests and many guests post here.

@German187 Every week there are posts here from people doing their thesis on some aspect of Airbnb, asking people to fill out their survey. Most people have better things to do with their time.

Since the search box says "Join the conversation and connect with other hosts who are creating a world where anyone can belong." and almost all of the posts and responses are by hosts, I assumed it was. My mistake then.

@Jackie570  Yes, that wording is kind of strange- I never noticed it until you pointed it out. There is a section of this forum called "Host Circle" which is only open to hosts for topics hosts may want to discuss among themselves.
