Travel to Canaries

I am travelling to the Canaries at the end of the month and am aware of the requirement for the negative test in order to travel.

If my test is positive am I able to claim extenuating circumstances-even if the host policy is strict?

or will i lose the full amount of the booking if under their policy no refund is given- not even fees.

The COVID extenuating circumstances policy states refund is possble if "the guest or host is currently sick with COVID-19". But better check it with Airbnb :
