Travel to VietNam current outbreak Corona Virus

I would like to delay the travel by few months due to Corona Virus outbreak in Asia, but already book and paid the accommodation with strict cancellation, meaning only get 50% refund. Can this be part refund for cancellation due to circumstance and prevent the spread of virus not coming to region. Any advise appreciate

What did the host say when you asked them whether you could amend the booking @Aaron642

I contacted the host directly and he agrees to cancel. However due to cancellation condition control by airBNB, he does not how to refund the full amount. I called AirBNB representative and explain, they jump in and contact host to confirm and help both of us to proceed with cancellation and full refund. I would recommend you do the same. AirBNB rep was very good and she follows up with a callback to confirm my cancellation and an email confirm. It is great service from AirBNB.
