Hi

i have posted a space for refugees fleeing Ukraine 

It’s been up for a few days and no one has looked or contacted me 

what Can I do to help get it filled other than Facebook 

what is Airbnb doing to lobby the government on the visa situation

I've been registered in the UK to host refugees since I first listed with Airbnb six years ago and have never had a request from them to host a refugee sadly.

It's not up to Airbnb to lobby our government. They are a US based multi-national.

Have you written to your MP to raise the issue.

It's so sad that our government is still making Ukraine refugees apply for a visa when other countries are opening up their borders.

Have you tried contacting local refugee charities in your area to see if you can provide accommodation. This from my experience is a much better way of helping refugees with accommodation. These charities have a much better vetting system of both refugees and hosts to ensure there is a good fit and support for the refugee families you host.
