Good afternoon, as you all know, there is a terrible war going on in my country now, a lot of women's children and people in general are dying. And many were left without home , without work and without means of subsistence.In this regard, my friends who are abroad advised me to place  advertisement about renting out my apartment.I did just that, I posted my ad and people started booking my apartments And thus they wanted to help me. But @Airbnb fo some reason, canceled all bookings and returned the money back to guests .

My guests and I don’t understand why this happened and I wrote and called to @Airbnb support more than once, but I didn’t receive any understandable answer and help.My account was created in 2014 and is not fake.I also confirmed my identity with a passport and all available methods that are indicated on your website. Many of my friends have accounts on the  airbnb site and their ads are working and they are getting help from guests at the moment.And I still can’t understand what I did wrong and why such a discriminatory attitude towards me if my friends’ accounts not blocked and my account is  blocked, why is this so?? @Airbnb @ Can you help me to understand all this? Thank you !!!

@Pavel162   When this initiative to help Ukrainians by booking was started on Feb 28th 2022, it was recommended that bookings were made with existing hosts without multiple listings… generally home shares and with reviews as these accounts were verified.  Once people started making these bookings Airbnb waived their fees to ensure more money went to those who needed it.  However, many Ukrainians, who had perhaps one listing then increased their listings, in one case from 2 rooms to 30.  Many who had never had a listing prior to March 2022 also created some listings to benefit.  Airbnb appear to be carefully scrutinising all new listings to ensure they are not fraudulent.. essentially any listing created from 1st of March onwards is being checked.  I can see you were an Airbnb member since 2014, but as a guest, not a host, and it would seem your listing was created in March this year.  I hope this clarifies the situation for you.

Hello Kate. Thank you very much for trying to clarify, but the fact is that my friends also posted ads in March and there was no blocking.In addition, I would like to add that my friend, who is also a super owner, wrote time-2 things That he personally knows me and also sent help and I received it partially, it was not blocked, and another payment was not blocked, which was the first for my my apartment, so I don’t understand why there is a blockage further.Even under the ad you can see reviews of real guests who wanted to help me and who managed to do it.
