Unable to book, airbnb thinks I'm a Chinese guest

Hi,

For some reason with one property in particular when I go to book it airBNB sends me to /china-verify and wants me to verify myself using my Chinese passport to do the booking.

I am not Chinese, I live in the city of the place I'm wanting to book (Sydney, Aus) and don't have this happen with any other properties.

I've contacted the host, but is there something else I can do?

ah! nothing to worry about. All Chinese people look alike, you look Chinese to me.

Maybe you just accidentally chose a wrong language, just change your language selection and location.

My location is Sydney AU and language is english.

This only happens for one particular property, all others are fine. So I'm thinking it'a a bug with airbnb..

Then it could be the host mistake, maybe ask her/him check their listing setting again.

Got it sorted.

I verified using the process and my drivers licence and was able to book the property.

Very strange.
