Unfair Covid suspension

Unfortunately I contracted Covid and we had to cancel a booking then a week later my husband contracted it too so we had to cancel another booking …. This was in November!!

we got out on suspension from Airbnb until the end of January which is ludicrous as we are continuing to host the pre existing bookings …

can someone explain to me how this is possible if we are a threat why are we allowed to host existing bookings yet can’t take any new ones for a 3 month period?

I am not allowed to proceed up the enquiry route until I have a negative test and a letter from my Dr!!

at the moment in Victoria where I live ..  the cues to get tested are up to 6 hours … you can’t buy a rapid antigen test and our Drs are fully booked.

Has anyone else had this experience?
