VRBO/Homeaway VS Airbnb

Thus far I've had way more success with Airbnb than VRBO/Homeaway, though I know a lot of people on both also who love them. I've found in my short time I mostly get people "inquiring" for a discount or asking to book but it's clearly a scam. None of that with Airbnb (yet). I'm not ready to give up on VRBO/Homeaway because I hear supposedly they attract a more "mature" traveler and more week bookings, which I'm looking for the Winnipesaukee summer. Just curious everyone else's experience.

we are newbies to Short term renting and so far i have had tons of activity on Airbnb vs Vrbo. Also i find that Airbnb is much easier to navigate.
