Hello everyone,
I hope youโre all doing well and enjoying a great hosting season!
Today, I have some great news to share with youโฆ ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ A new Community Manager is joining our team for the English and French-speaking Community Center! I wanted to give you the opportunity to get to know @Elisa , who will be helping me and @Paula manage this forum during the PST time zones! I hope youโll join me in giving her a warm welcome to our lovely Community Center! ๐
@Elisa , Iโll let you introduce yourself below! ๐
Have a great day, everyone,
Bhumika
@Elisa - happy that you love Jasmines and liked reading a bit about it. And yes all the pictures provided in the content are all from my farm house. I have the three common varieties of Jasmines all blooming to glory during their seasons (March to September). I enjoy picking the buds and making the strands.
Wow @Dr-Jayanthi1 ๐ I love how you've summarized our wonderful culture this way ๐ I never knew the intricacies of this beautiful flower that holds so much importance๐
Thank you @Bhumika. I wish I can share the real flowers with you sometime. Welcome to my farm anytime ๐
Welcome to the community center! What a lovely intro ~ thanks for sharing a bit about you and your love for traveling and life.
Hello @Lorina14 Thank you for this nice welcome! ๐
How has your experience in the community been so far?
-----
Itโs been great being a part of the community here, everyone is generally friendly and helpful and there are a lot of good tips and things to learn from a host or guestโs perspective!
I think one of the best tips Iโve picked up was a
host mentioned buying stove top protectors and those were a lifesaver for my gas stove! They wash easily and have saved me time in cleaning my burners. I love helping out and sharing as Iโve learned a lot from participating in these boards and hopefully if I ever have an issue I hope to get different perspectives to help me out.
Hi @Lorina14
I'm happy to know that this community plays such an important role for you!
It's a great way to make use of it.
I have no doubt that you'll always find support here! ๐
Have you ever asked for help?
Warm regards,
-----

News from Norja/ Norway?
My part of the northern part of Norway has had the best summer in years;
May, June, July and the three first weeks of August!
Usually if we are lucky we have summer in the last part of June, July and the first part
of August.
For me my main months in Airbnb are in the winter between Februar and April-May.
Then the Lyngen Alps area, east of Tromsoe in the nortern part of Norway, have a huge number of skiing tourists from almost all over the world.
I simply love to meet my guests personally and not through a keybox. From what my guests tell me that is a very nice gesture. Because of the terrible Corona-pandemic people got to be "strangers" to one another, by meeting my guests in person that is my way to take back the natural contact.
Greetings to you from me Per!
Hyvvรครค viikkonloppua/ Have a great weekend!
Welcome once again.
Thank you for the introduction! ๐
I didnโt know the weather could be so lovely there.
What do you usually recommend your guests to do?
Warm regards,
-----
Thank you @Till-and-Jutta0 .๐
I hope you are having a great day! Is it still summer in Germany?
-----
@Elisa Well, actually we escape from the German summer heat while staying at our second home in Italy ๐
@Till-and-Jutta0 Oh wow, amazing picture! ๐
Where is your second home? I am Italian ๐ฎ๐น
