@Anna9170 I haven't seen "The Gentlemen" - I can't wait to watch it! I loved Lock, Stock, & Smoking Barrel. How did I miss this film??
I keep putting off watching Defending Jacob but if you recommend it, I'll watch it. One of my favorite shows recently is "Ozark." I just heard there's going to be a 5th season. The second season wasn't the strongest but overall it just keeps getting better and better (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt5071412/)
The other favorite show is "Good Girls" (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt6474378/).
So skating - here goes, some of my favorite Olympic moments.
Here's Yagudin at Salt Lake City. This was the first time I saw him and I nearly jumped out of my skin. I can't get over his posture on the ice. His line is so perfect in every move. I know Pluschenko was his chief rival but I far prefer Yagudin. They're both at the beginning of this video of Yagudin's short program at Salt Lake City - which starts 3.5 minutes in: https://youtu.be/oB2zNSu8K0I
And here is my heart - Evgenia Medvedeva - in 2018 - her interpretation of Anna Karenina is perfect in every way - I'm pretty sure I was jumping up and down and texting every Russian friend in New York when I saw this: https://youtu.be/dL3jNyA83SA
The Olympic performances of Sara Hughes and Brian Boitano are so much fun to watch because you can see the point when they know they're going to win the gold medal and the sheer exhilaration is incredible to watch.
Of course one of the greatest performances of all time is Torvill and Dean's "Bolero." It's not in HD as far as I can tell but it's still incredibly powerful: https://youtu.be/rc-0BCSyWtc
Impossible to describe how innovative and influential that performance was. And the end kills me every time!
