What is the best way to promote and market my Airbnb?

High there, I'm continually thinking of how to promote my rental cabin.    Does anyone have any recommendations?   For instance boosting the property or creating the property's own website??   Thanks in advance.

@Charles1042 One thing that Airbnb do well is to market the property. If you have your own website you will receive more revenue as you can 'keep' the service fees (approx 20%). If the costs is small then it would be a worthwhile risk to try your own website and see how it goes.

@Charles1042   There are many ways to promote your property.  Diversify your listing by using other platforms.  Create your own website.  List with a local realtor for a limited period of time until you start gaining traffic from less expensive avenues.  Some owners use social media websites.  

List very carefully.  You don't want to have to be going to too many locations to update calendars, pictures or pricing.  I list my property in 3 locations (two OTAs and one personal website) and have a full calendar.  My personal website brings the least traffic currently, although it was the front runner 10 years ago.  Good luck!

@Charles1042 , did you create a website?  I've read on here, that Lodgify was good for vacation rental sites.

 @Lorna170 , @Mike-And-Jane0 Who did you use for your website?  As costs keep going up I think more people will be looking for direct websites.  I think it's time to diversify my marketing again.  Thanks for any advise.
