TL;DR: I need a lawyer who can help me file charges against Airbnb.
I am a host, and my payout method is in pending status for more than two months. In these two months, I managed to host guests and make more than $2,000. However, this money is stuck with Airbnb, and after repeated calls, they haven't taken the matter seriously.
Every time I call they give me the same excuse of "It's currently under process." They once asked me to contact the bank institution and confirm if they have approved. I did that and even attached an email from the bank institution approving that I'm now eligible to receive funds from Airbnb.
So far, I've lost a lot of time by being put on hold for long hours only to receive the same information. "Someone will reach out to you." The only problem no one from Airbnb ever reaches out to me. It is I who has to call them and remind them about my case, and they apologize but never care to resolve my matter.
I believe they are abusing their power. Since they have my money with them, I've no choice but to cooperate and listen to what they have to say, which is the usual response, "You will have to wait!"
But, it's been two months, and I've lost patience. I'm looking for someone who can help me with filing charges against Airbnb for fraud.
Clearly, I was the biggest fan of Airbnb, but this experience has turned me against them. If I don't take them to court, they will continue to take advantage of many hosts like me.
I have the money and patience to prosecute, and I need someone to help with fixing me with a good lawyer.
