I'm very appreciative of the internet bringing us all closer and more quickly. I miss the handwritten letters and enclosures, that's the flip side. I am in better communication with far flung (all of them) friends and family. Most of my life was without internet so I am perhaps  more appreciative than some of the digital natives? 

Always amazed, always grateful!

I've never had the opportunity to write letters, but I wish I had. I used to send postcards to my grandparents when I was away in the summer with my parents. I felt it was really special as I could see their handwriting, which made it even more meaningful. 😌

Philippines experiences cool and pleasant weather atm. Great weather for beaches and festivals.

I live 1 street from the Huskisson Beach NSW.

At night when the air is quiet you can hear the waves crashing on the beach if there has been rough weather.

Early in the mornings you can hear the Kookaburras calling to say "Get out of Bed" But at 5.30 it is too early.

In the afternoon you hear the parrots making a racket when my elderly neighbour feeds them.
